The term Computer Graphics was born as a desire to transmit information graphically. While there are since thousands of years ago, currently the renderings are still used for show ideas, concepts, details, events, or even situations with images and graphics.

Traditionally, the goal of computer graphics has been the photo-realistic, to generate synthetic images that are indistinguishable from photographs. Today, this goal could be said to have been reached. Taking into account the knowledge, equipment and with enough time you can generate images that cannot be distinguished from the photographic images at a glance, and there are models that simulate optical processes up to the level of the single photons. The generation of images by computer which are indistinguishable from photographs are employed in essence for a large number of applications, including design, marketing, and the entertainment industry.
